Change?

I have become increasingly concerned about Tucson. For years I ignored the folly of our city politicians because I lived in the county and our business is in the county. I laughed as friends joked about the corruption, cronyism and nepotism that are characteristic of our city government. Then I began to hear the frustration of other business people as they tried to get simple things done at developmental services. I began to realize that what happens in the city of Tucson affects me even though I live and work in the county.

We have lost high quality companies (with high paid jobs) to Albuquerque, Salt Lake City and El Paso because of the stonewalling and ineptitude of our city officials. I haven't even gotten to Rio Never (Nuevo). I have finally reached the boiling point as Peter Finch did in the movie network when he said "I am mad as hell and I am not going to take this anymore!" For that reason I am supporting Ben Buehler-Garcia, Steve Kozachik and Shaun McCloskey for City Council. I have met with all of them that they would stem the corruption and help us become a more business friendly city.
Steve K has raised the money needed for matching funds. Ben and Shaun need our help. I urge you to join me by going to their web sites and make a contribution. If we don't act you can expect business (or lack
of) as usual.
